Who we are

Purrbly runs the Purrbly store. You can reach us at support@purrbly.com.

Your cat’s profile stays on your device

Cat names, quiz answers, Passports, special dates, owned items and your bag are saved in your browser’s local storage. You can delete them at any time from the Saved cats page. Your cat’s name and answers are not sent to us; the type the quiz gives your cat is recorded with our site analytics.

How we measure the site

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use Purrbly: the pages you visit, what you click and scroll, the products you view and add to your bag, the quiz type you get, your device, browser, approximate location and the site that sent you. Clarity also records sessions as replays and heatmaps of the page, with anything you type hidden. We use this to fix problems, improve the store and measure our advertising.

To connect a visit with an order, the random ID Google Analytics gives your browser is passed to checkout with your bag, and your order total and items are reported back to Google Analytics. Your name, email and address are not.

When you place an order

Checkout is run by Shopify. To process your order we collect your name, email, shipping address, phone number (if you give it) and order details. Payments are handled by Shopify’s payment processors. We never see or store your full card number.

If you choose, the name of your cat is added to your order so we can personalize it.

Who we share it with

Shopify, which hosts our checkout and order records.

Our fulfilment partner, CJ Dropshipping, which receives your name, shipping address, phone number and the items ordered so it can pack and ship your order.

Delivery carriers, which receive what they need to deliver your parcel.

Google and Microsoft, which run our site analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) and may process data in the United States.

We don’t sell your personal information and we don’t share it for advertising.

Emails

We send order and shipping emails. We only send marketing emails if you sign up for them, and every one has an unsubscribe link.

Cookies

Our site uses your browser’s local storage for your cats and bag, and Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity cookies that tell repeat visits apart. Shopify’s checkout uses cookies needed to run checkout securely.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email us at support@purrbly.com. We keep order records as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.

Children

Purrbly is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
